In an effort to eliminate the confusion, gimmicks, and frustrations associated with the long distance telephone industry, Telesens Communications Corp. announces the introduction of Rate Hunter (TM), its patented technology designed to automate the process of placing telephone calls at the lowest rate available in real time.
Rate Hunter technology enables the end user to benefit from aggregated least cost routing in real time. As an end user is placing a call, Rate Hunter is filtering the number through its on-board rate information database to determine the lowest cost provider based on time of day, day of week and call destination. Once the proper provider is identified, Rate Hunter connects the call. This automated process eliminates the burdensome decision making process of choosing a long distance provider.
Rate Hunter is being introduced as a free software program and functions for both domestic and international calls. Rate Hunter will be available for single or multiple line applications. The end user can update the rate information file daily at the Telesens (SM) web site (www.telesens.com).
"We identified a need for this type of technology in today's increasingly competitive long distance industry," said Rick Fischer, Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. "With competition comes confusion," Fischer stated. "By introducing Rate Hunter, an automated process for least cost call routing, we will be eliminating this confusion."
Telesens Communications Corp., based in Uniondale, New York was formed in 1995 as an information provider to focus on new telecommunications technology and product development. Telesens aggregates single end user members to the Telesens information database.
The long distance service providers offer volume discounts to large end users. As membership grows, Telesens will create demand as a large end user. Small and medium size end users are shut out of this market. As membership increases so will demand for long distance service.
Long distance service providers are offered the opportunity to list their rates in the Telesens rate information data base in the form of a bid through the Telesens Rates Exchange Desk. These rates are stored in the Telesens rate information data base and displayed on the Telesens Rates Exchange Rate Ticker at the Telesens web site to members and long distance service providers.
Members can download the free software from the Rate Hunter web site http://www.ratehunter.com and realize the benefit of these rates by using Rate Hunter. |
