Fourth
Sunday of Easter
April 21, 2002
With
Jesus as our shepherd, we will find the fertile pasture of
eternal life.
Alter
Servers for next Sunday's 9:00 a.m. mass:
Jonathon Csontos and John Konik.
Ham
Raffle we made only $53.00 on our most recent
Ham Raffle after all expenses were paid. We sent out
about 135 booklets and only 70 were sold and the money
returned to us. This was about a 50% response from
the parish, which was not very good. As a result, we
may have to reconsider the turkey raffle this year.
Confirmation will be held at St. John the
Evangelist Church on Sunday, April 21 at 3:00pm.
Being confirmed from our church are: Amanda Bradt,
John Knok III and Michelle Kopczynski. All are
welcome.
The
Food
Pantry received $4,282 from the "Souper
Bowl" drive.

Religion
Classes Next Sunday, April 28th will be the last
religion class for our children. We will begin again
in September. We thank our teachers, Kathy Connolly,
Betty Vielkind, Audrey Capers, Monica Greco, Lucia
Gutierrez, Sr. Therese and Maria Perez, who are very
dedicated in sharing their faith and time with you
children. God Bless!
Sunday,
May 5th the annual Crop Walk will take
place. We need walkers. There is a sign-up
sheet on the communion rail. More details will
follow. We received over $2,000 from last year's
walk. $4282.00 was received, also, by the
Pantry. This was from the souper bowl drive.
Many thanks to all for your support.
