The Capital District Ski Educational Foundation (CDSEF) and West Mountain, Glens Falls, NY, proudly The March Hareannounce the Sixth Annual March Hare Raiser, a dual slalom race  open to skiers and snowboarders, 18 years of age or older, from throughout the Northeast.

To spread the word about this fun and exciting event, the C.D.S.E.F. is inviting participation by ski clubs from New York, New Jersey and New England.

A special $TBA all day lift ticket price for March 10th will be available to all participants.

We invite you to join the fun and participate in this race.  Racers will also be able to attend our apres ski party which includes food and a cash bar. Plus, you'll have the satisfaction of supporting a worthy cause.

Details

Race Format:
Dual Slalom, two runs. There will be classes for juniors, open men's and women's classes and veteran's classes.  Helmet use encouraged.  Racers must be aged 18 or over.  Trophies will be awarded.

Race Entry Fee:
$8 per racer. Teams must send all entry forms together.

Special Lift Ticket Price:
$TBA -  This price will only be available to participants and members of groups that field at least 12 racers.

Registration Information

The March Hare Raiser is open to the first 150 skiers and snowboarders who register.

We strongly recommend you pre-register for this event, to assure you of a place on the roster of racers. Pre-registration is also necessary if you want to participate as a mixed team of three racers.

Deadline for Pre-registration is February 25, 2002, or until 150 racers are registered.

To Pre-register:

Print and fill out the entry form and sign and date the Release. This form can be photocopied if you need additional copies for your team.

Make out a check for the Racer Entry Fee, which is $8 per racer.  Do not include payment for lift tickets - you will pay for them on the day of the race.  Groups can either use one check, or include a separate check for each entrant.  Make checks payable to the Capital District Ski Educational Foundation, Inc.

Getting Lift Tickets on Race Day

Groups:
Groups are responsible for making arrangements with Group Sales to pick up and pay for lift tickets.  West Mountain Group Sales can be reached at : 518-793-6606.

Individual Participants:
Lift tickets can be purchased at the Event Check-in, in the Main lodge.
