About Eric Geoscience, Inc.

Eric Geoscience, Inc. was formed in 1996 to handle business associated with GAMLS. Dr. Eric Eslinger is the president of Eric Geoscience, Inc. The principal office is located in Glenmont (a suburb of Albany), New York.

GAMLS is a geologic application of MLANS (Maximum Likelihood Adaptive Neural System). MLANS was developed by Nichols Research Corp. (NRC), an information technology company based in Huntsville, Alabama. MLANS was first applied by NRC to defense industry problems such as missile tracking and signal processing, and eventually used by NRC for a wide variety of applications (medical, etc.). NRC was merged into CSC (Computer Sciences Corporation) in 1999. GAMLS is the first application of MLANS in the geoscience field.

Original GAMLS development was a joint project of Dr. Eslinger and Dr. Bernard Burdick. Dr. Burdick, a physicist, was then an employee of NRC (Lexington, MA office). Later, Dr. Jeff Cooper joined the development team.
