The Mermen No, it's nothing to do with Ethel, they're just another surfish band worth checking out.
Man or Astro-man? While the Mermen sometimes edge over into metal, these guys stay more or less in the classic surf music groove.
Agent Orange Surf/Punk band that did a lot to revive interest in surf music in the early 80's.
Footpound Home of Bradford Reed, a far-out street musician who plays homemade instruments. I saw him in New York when I attended the Beyond Hope conference.

NuWorld Gary Numan's official website. He's still recording and touring, although his style has shifted from new wave synthpop to industrial/gothic.
Project/Object A phenomenal Frank Zappa tribute band based in New Jersey. They often tour with Ike Willis, the vocalist from FZ's band who performed the title roles on "Joe's Garage" and "Thingfish".
VATIC[A.N.] Vatic Artistic Noise, an excellent industrial band.
